How Does SkinVive® Work?

As it is part of the Juvederm® Collection of Fillers, SkinVive is made from ‘hyaluronic acid’: a naturally-occurring compound that forms the basis of many products. Our SkinVive process involves injecting the HA formula beneath the cheeks’ top layer. You guessed it: this stimulates collagen production for younger-looking, smooth skin. SkinVive is not like other fillers. Results will be subtle at first, with possible added plumpness to the skin after 14 days. However, most clients enjoy their full glow after 4 weeks!

No major effects. Treatments in Juvederm’s collection are made with ‘hyaluronic acid’ (non-toxic and biocompatible), and therefore cause very few side effects. It may include minor bumps / swelling, redness, discoloration, bruising, firmness, itching or tenderness to the touch. We will review possible side effects during your consultation.
