While youâre scheduling hair and makeup tests, why not start your bridal beauty journey as well? You wonât have to worry about which treatment to get or when to get it, so check that off your list and let us take care of getting you glowing for your big day.
Treatments Fit For A Bride
Youâll find that in our 9 month bridal services a slew of treatments that include, both aesthetic and body sculpting.
You can decide if you want to go one track with just the aesthetics or add in the body sculpting to ensure your body is ready to look SNATCHED in that dress!
Included in the bridal services plan, youâll also be given a medical grade skincare regimen to follow at home! This locks in the treatments and helps aid your skin in looking its best!
Again, this treatment plan is best starting out about 9 months out from the wedding and will continue until 1 month before! The treatments get fewer and lighter the closer to the wedding, as to ensure no issues arise and your skin is glowing, flawless and happy!

Even though the above are natural signs of aging, sometimes we want to freeze time and look like we are in our prime!
The good news is that injectable treatments like Botox and Dysport exist!
Injectable neurotoxins have been around for decades and are the most popular form of cosmetic treatment. They help to relax the muscles that cause those frown and forehead lines.
But if both injectables achieve the same results, what treatment should you choose between Dysport vs. Botox? Letâs take a look at the differences.
Active Ingredients
To understand how each treatment works, you have to know that Dysport and Botox are made of different active ingredients.
Botox is derived from onabotulinumtoxinA, while Dysport is derived from abobotulinumtoxinA. They are different formulations of botulinum toxin type A.
Botulinum toxin type A is a powerful neurotoxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. A neurotoxin causes paralysis or a relaxation of the muscle it is injected into.
Because both injectables are made of different active ingredients, you may find that one works better for you in the long run.
Result Times
As with any treatment, you have a waiting period between when you are treated to when you see your âfinalâ results. It is known that Dysport has a faster onset of action compared to Botox, meaning youâll see the results of your Dysport within a few days, while Botox takes anywhere from 3-7.
Area Of Concern
Are you looking to treat fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes or deep frown and forehead lines? Depending on what you are trying to achieve, may help you decide between Dysport and Botox.
Dysport has a broader spread of the ingredients, while Botox stays more localized to the concentrated area of injection.
Potency Of Product & Dosage Equivalency
Even though Dysport may have a wider spread of its ingredients, it is not as powerful in potency compared to Botox.
To put things into perspective, 3 units of Dysport is equal to just 1 unit of Botox.
This doesnât mean that Dysport isnât as effective as Botox, it just means that you may find that one neurotoxin injectable is more beneficial in different areas of concern!
Like we said above, Dysport is great for deep wrinkles like frown and forehead lines, while Botox is more beneficial for fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes!

We all love a good facial contour, but what if we told you that there was a way to have that gorgeous structured and slim jawline WITHOUT having to use makeup?
Since the pandemic, we have all taken a step back from heavy makeup looks to let our natural beauty shine! We spent years in the house, not having to worry about the latest makeup trend, which switched our focus to skin care, and the âless is moreâ makeup look.
So on trend with that idea, many looked to enhance their natural beauty with treatments like Botox, Juvederm, dermal fillers, Kybella and the like. Thankfully, many treatments like that do exist and now, within the last year, Juvederm has released another successful facial sculpting treatment called the Volux! Designed to sculpt and contour the face, Juvederm Volux has quickly gained a reputation as a revolutionary dermal filler that can transform your appearance.
Both men and women can enjoy the benefits of this popular treatment, and below we will dive a little deeper and discuss 5 reasons to try Juvederm Volux to enhance your jawline and your natural beauty!
Enhanced Facial Structure
The Juvederm Volux is specifically designed to add volume and contour to the lower face, particularly the jawline and chin. By using the dermal filler injection, you can achieve a more defined and sculpted jawline that doesnât overwhelm your facial structure, but creates a naturally enhanced appearance.
Opting for Juvederm Volux means choosing a non-surgical and minimally invasive solution to enhance your facial contours. The treatment involves a simple injection process performed by a skilled medical aesthetic professional. The procedure offers minimal discomfort and downtime. With the ability to be in and out of the medspa within an hour or so, along with the minimal downtime, you can get back to your daily routine almost immediately, making it a convenient option for those with busy schedules.
Quick Results
Just like when you get instant results after you contour your face with makeup, you will see quick results after going through your treatment plan with Volux! Once you have completed the treatment plan you can see full results within 14 days! Thatâs right, youâll go from sagging skin to snatched chin in 2 weeks!
Long Lasting
Not only are the results QUICK, but they are also long-lasting! One of the standout features of Juvederm Volux is its impressive longevity. Unlike some other dermal fillers that may require frequent touch-ups, Juvederm Volux offers long-lasting results. You can enjoy the benefits of your enhanced facial contours for up to a year, providing you with a sustained and fulfilling transformation.

Letâs talk about Botox. Why do people get it? Why do people not get it? What should we know about it? What are the common experiences?
First, we should get the facts right. Botox Cosmetic is an FDA-approved nonsurgical treatment to smooth lines and wrinkles. The product is usually injected into the forehead and between the eyebrows to address horizontal lines on the forehead, âelevensâ, which are wrinkles between the eyebrows, and âcrowâs feetâ, which are the lines at the outer corners of the eyes.
There are lots of great things that come with age. Many of us feel a greater sense of self-assurance in our 30s, 40s, and later. Many of us are blessed with quality relationships and growing families. And letâs be honest, itâs nice to not deal with the acne of our younger years, right?
But we donât enjoy everything about aging. For example, looking older is not so great. Lines and wrinkles on the face â even if they come from years of smiling, laughing, and hard work â arenât exactly our favorite look. And the lines between the eyebrows often have the effect of making us look frustrated or angry when weâre not.
One of the go-to objections to Botox is that itâs morally wrong to alter your natural appearance. Some of us feel weâd be âcheatingâ or compromising our principles if we got Botox. The truth is, the desire to look attractive (or at least not angry!) is natural and good. Not to mention, we do all kinds of things to alter our appearances, from eating well to exercising to dying our hair. Consulting a qualified medical practitioner is no different from consulting a nutritionist, fitness instructor, or hair stylist.
Another objection to Botox is that itâs scary. âDo you really want to put a toxin in your face?â Most of us have heard this before. Growing numbers of men and women are answering with a resounding âYesâ. Toxin might be a scary word, but for years weâve known that itâs an effective and entirely safe medical grade tool just like so many other products. There are plenty of products that werenât invented for how theyâre used today, and that doesnât make them less useful or unsafe.
So, letâs give ourselves permission to do Botox, if thatâs what we want to do, and feel good about our choices, shall we?
What To Know Before Trying It
Botox has become a very popular way to treat signs of aging, but there are still lots of us out there who havenât tried it before. Here are a few things we should know about Botox before trying it:
Botox is quick and easy. Itâs a simple 10-minute procedure with no recovery time â the kind of thing you can do on your lunch break before going back to work.
It doesnât erase wrinkles. If you only have lines when you make certain expressions, then Botox can prevent those lines. However, if your lines have set in and turned into wrinkles, Botox cannot make them go away. Itâs more preventative than restorative. (To make wrinkles go away, you might be interested in filler.
Itâs temporary. Botox usually lasts for about 4 months and can have effects for up to 6 months. Thatâs not forever. When youâre trying Botox for the first time, itâs comforting to know itâs not permanent.
There are certain things you canât do right after getting Botox. None of these things are a big deal. Youâll probably be instructed not to exercise, lie down, or take Ibuprofen for a few hours.
It takes a few days to take effect. If you have an event coming up where youâd like to show off your new youthful appearance, plan to do Botox at least a week in advance. That way it has time to set in.
Botox is very common. You may be surprised to learn that your own friends and family members are already doing it! The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery ranks Botox as the most popular physician-administered aesthetic procedure in the United States.

Lines and wrinkles in the face can make us look older than we feel. If you are one of the many individuals who are beginning to notice these pesky lines, you may be wondering the best route to correction. Botox and fillers are nonsurgical solutions to help address lines and wrinkles, however, they differ in many ways. Read on to learn more about these options and which one is right for you.
Botox
Botox is an injectable treatment that is made up of botulinum toxin type A. Throughout our lives, we make facial expressions, and use muscles to make these expressions. Botox blocks the nerve signals that cause these facial muscles to contract, ultimately preventing lines from forming. This treatment is most commonly used to treat horizontal forehead lines, â11â lines between the eyebrows, and crowâs feet. Results typically last between three and six months before a touch-up treatment is needed.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are different from Botox in that they smooth lines and wrinkles by adding volume under the skin. Many dermal fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane are made up of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance that attracts and binds water under the skin. Fillers can be used to smooth our nasolabial folds and marionette lines, as well as restore youthful volume to the cheeks and plump the lips. Results from fillers usually last 4-6 months, depending on the type of filler.
Which Option is Right for You?
The type of injectable treatment that is right for you will depend on the type of wrinkles you would like to treat. Dynamic wrinkles, or wrinkles that are caused by muscle contractions can be corrected with Botox, while wrinkles and lines caused by aging can be addressed with fillers. The first step to determining which treatment is right for you is with a consultation with a certified injector.
If you are interested in learning more about Botox or fillers in the Bellevue area, contact our office today. We would be happy to schedule your initial consultation.
Why is preventative aging important to millenials?
Today, social media is everywhere, and millennials or young individuals, have easily assimilated it into their everyday lives. With apps like Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook, selfies are all the rage. And when you are constantly taking selfies of yourself, you are bound to notice little signs of aging. To keep up with the idea of âperfectionâ shown on social media, more millennials than ever are getting Botox and dermal fillers. Because these treatments are nonsurgical and require little to no downtime, it makes it the perfect quick-fix. Read on to learn more about these treatment options.
Botox
Botox is a popular neuromodulator, which aims to selectively weaken certain facial muscles to reduce signs of aging. It is most commonly used to reduce crowâs feet, lines between the eyebrows and on the forehead, to elevate the brows, and soften the chin pad. It is made up of botulinum toxin type A, and can last for 3-4 months. Today, many millennials are also using Botox as a preventative treatment rather than to correct the aging process.
Fillers
Fillers are different from Botox in that they are used to lump and fill in areas of the face. Fillers are often used to help create fuller lips and cheeks, enhance sunken eyes, and soften the look of wrinkles. Many fillers are made up of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that attracts and binds water under the skin. There are many FDA-approved fillers today, including Restylane and Juvederm.
At ASBS, we also offer other types of fillers, such as Sculptra Aesthetic and Radiessethat work differently with your skin.
So, Fillers or Botox?
If you are in your twenties and are considering Botox of fillers, be sure do your research first. Seeking out a skilled cosmetic injector in Bellevue is important to ensure optimal results. Also, be sure to speak with your specialist about your individual goals and why you would like to have this treatment in the first place.
Now more than ever, non-surgical cosmetic treatments in Bellevue are rising in popularity. And itâs no surprise since these treatments typically require no incisions, stitches, or downtime. One of the most popular nonsurgical options is dermal fillers. However, it is important to understand that not all fillers are the same. Read on to learn more about fillers in Bellevue, and which one is right for you.
Juvederm
There are several Juvederm fillers used at our office, each of which targets a specific area of the face. Juvederm products are made with hyaluronic acid, which attracts and binds water to create youthful volume under the skin. Juvederm can be used to smooth facial wrinkles and lines, as well as plump the lips. Juvederm Volbella is specifically made to add volume to delicate areas such as the lips and lines around the lips, while Juvederm Vollure is a great solution for nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
Radiesse
Radiesse is made up of Calcium Hydroxyapatite, which are small calcium spheres that are suspended in a water-based gel. Once Radiesse is injected, it provides immediate volume, but also stimulates collagen production. Over time, the gel is absorbed by the body, leaving behind your own collagen for natural rejuvenation. This filler is great for treating smile lines, marionette lines, pre-jowl folds, lines at the corners of the mouth, and chin wrinkles.
Sculptra
Sculptra is a filler meant to address signs of aging such as smile lines, marionette lines, and chin wrinkles. It is made of poly-L-lactic acid, which is naturally absorbed by the body and stimulates collagen production. This helps to add youthful volume to the skin to smooth and rejuvenate for a more youthful appearance.
There are several other types of fillers that may be best for you. That’s why it’s important to seek an experienced cosmetic injector near you to ensure the best results.
Injectable treatments like Botox and dermal fillers continue to be a popular, nonsurgical option for facial rejuvenation. Both can temporarily improve facial lines and wrinkles for smoother skin and a younger appearance, so, which one should you choose?
What is Botox?
Botox in Bellevue is an injectable formula used to treat lines and wrinkles in the upper face. Common areas of concern are crowâs feet in the outer corners of the eyes, lines between the brows, and forehead creases. A skilled cosmetic injector administers Botox into certain points in the face that will target the wrinkle-causing muscle. Signals that tell the muscle to contract will be temporarily blocked, leaving your face smooth and line-free! Results from Botox typically last about four months before a follow-up session is needed.
What are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers use a clear gel formula, often containing hyaluronic acid, to add volume to lines, wrinkles, and folds usually in the mid to lower face. The formula fills in lines to give the skin an even surface and smooth texture. Some types of fillers can also be placed in areas such as the lips, cheeks, and chin to define your features with a little extra volume. Depending on the type of dermal filler you choose, results can last for several months to a year with optimal treatment.
So, Fillers or Botox?
Facial lines and wrinkles can be caused by a number of different things including repeated facial expressions like laughing, smiling, or frowning, or from a loss of elasticity in the skin. Choosing the type of injectable thatâs right for you will depend on the type of lines and wrinkles you experience. Do your lines and wrinkles only appear when you make a facial expression? If you answered yes, then Botox might be better for you. But if your facial wrinkles and folds are present even when your face is relaxed, you would benefit more from a dermal filler.
